About Brandon
Brandon's journey began with a simple question: why throw away something that still has value? After witnessing food waste firsthand while working in a sushi kitchen, he began exploring ways to transform discarded organic materials into living soil inputs. That curiosity led him to Korean Natural Farming, years of hands-on farming experience, and advanced education through natural farming mentors and the OSU Master Gardener program. Today, Brandon combines the roles of student, teacher, and practitioner, helping others grow healthier soil by working with nature - not against it.

Korean Natural Farming (KNF) is a regenerative agriculture system developed by Han Kyu Cho in Korea during the 1960s, built on a simple but powerful idea: everything a farm needs already exists in its local environment. Rather than buying fertility from a bag, KNF practitioners ferment native plants, microorganisms, and minerals into a handful of potent inputs - applying each one in rhythm with the crop's natural growth stages. The result is a low-cost, soil-first approach that builds lasting biological health from the ground up.
